(Belgrade, Serbia)— Toastmasters Beograd invites Serbian-American and other remote guests to a special Toastmasters program, “Faster, Higher, Stronger: Olympic Photography”. The free event will be held Saturday, July 3 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. (CET) on Zoom.com. Renowned sports photographer Darrell Scattergood is a special speaker for the event.
“The Olympics in Tokyo is just around the corner,” says Scattergood, whose work has appeared in Sports Illustrated for Women. “I enjoy capturing the anxiety, hope, perseverance, triumph, and cooperation. The Games are always relevant to the human condition, but especially now as the world recovers from the pandemic.”
Following the keynote speech by Scattergood, members and guests will enjoy an impromptu speaking activity. Education chair Sanja Dodic, who has served in several roles with the group, will assist with the presentation.
“We welcome the public to attend, either in person or online,” says Branka Ćopić, current Beograd TM Vice President of Membership. “Whether you’re new to public speaking or would like to teach others, we offer a positive environment.”
For more information about the program, email Branka Ćopić email@example.com, and Sanja Dodic at firstname.lastname@example.org.
